Hydro Energy

Hydropower comes from the exploitation of river water. The conversion of water power using hydroelectric projects (ydatotamieftiras, dam, closed conduit drop, hydraulic turbine, generator, canal brain) produces hydroelectric power. The hitherto untapped hydroelectric potential of mainland Greece in particular, could cover a significant proportion of total energy consumption. In several parts of the country can be built by private small hydropower plants for electricity production.

Our company provides complete studies and measurements of hydrological data to develop and deploy Small Hydroelectric Projects, including feasibility of the project.

Feasibility Study
The feasibility study to install a small hydroelectric project is the first step in developing the project and deemed necessary and will examine and analyze the potential and alternative scenarios for the planning of the project. The service is targeted to individuals, investors, local authorities who wish to consider the possibility of building and operating a small hydroelectric project in their area and have an initial survey of oikonomikotechnikon requirements and cash outflows / inflows of the project.

As a first step in installing a Small Hydroelectric Project (SHP) is conducting a feasibility study of the corresponding project. This study is necessary because it needs before the start of the project, to investigate and then to examine and analyze various scenarios design and installation of a SHP-operation in the region. The company VisionTask prepare feasibility studies on the subject, has successfully carried out a number of relevant studies in various parts of Greece, with different requirements and economics, obtaining in this way considerable expertise.

Preliminary Installation
If the outcome of the feasibility study prove positive and he wants to draw up a project, are preparing a design study of the establishment of a small hydroelectric power plant at premeditated. The level of analysis of the preliminary design is such that it is sufficient for the issuance of various permits required for construction of Small Hydroelectric Project. The design which also draws on the results of the feasibility study include defining the technical characteristics of the necessary equipment, systems and automation of building infrastructure for the establishment of a Small Hydroelectric and its interface with the network.
